This is a good news that, West Bengal Govt has constituted a ” West Bengal State Technical cum Administrative Committee for Rare Diseases. This is a 7 member committee and ORDI ha happy that, Dr Dipanjan Datta – State Coordinator for ORDI is a Invited Member.

This is as per the Central Govt direction post National Policy for treatment for Rare Disease and a PIl filed by ORDI in Supreme court. Already Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, delhi, Jharkand, Sikkim and Manipur have formed the STC.
